Terms of sale
The short version of what you get when you buy a WardenRTU unit, in plain English.

Who is selling
WardenRTU units are sold by Steven McCoy, a sole proprietor doing business as WardenRTU (“we” or “us”). Contact: info@WardenRTU.com.
Price and payment
The WRTU-3B is $449 USD per unit, including standard shipping within the United States. Payment is by PayPal. Agencies can also buy on a purchase order by arrangement. The price shown when you order is the price you pay, plus any sales tax that applies.
Shipping
We ship to US addresses only for now. Units are built to order: a single unit ships in about 2–3 weeks, and larger orders in about 4 weeks. We email you a ship date after you order. If your unit arrives damaged, email us within 7 days of delivery with photos and we will make it right.
Sales tax
We charge sales tax where the law requires it. Tax-exempt agencies can send a valid exemption certificate before or with the order, and we will not charge tax on that order.
What the product is, and is not
WardenRTU is a monitoring aid. It is not a life-safety system, fire alarm system, or emergency notification system. Do not use it as the only means of detecting critical conditions. Networks, power, email, and SNMP managers can fail, so keep whatever other alarms and procedures your site requires. The unit is not outdoor rated and carries no UL, NEMA, or other safety listing.
Installation is your responsibility
You are responsible for installing, wiring, powering, and using the unit within its rated limits: dry-contact inputs and low-voltage circuits only. Never connect mains or plant voltage directly to the inputs. Follow your site standards and competent engineering judgment.
Limited 90-day warranty
For 90 days from delivery, we warrant the unit against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. If it fails during that time, email us. We will repair or replace it, at our option. This warranty does not cover damage from wiring outside the rated limits, overvoltage, lightning, water, physical damage, or modification. To the extent the law allows, this is the only warranty we give, and any implied warranties are limited to the same 90 days.
30-day returns
You can return an unused, undamaged unit, in its original packaging, within 30 days of delivery. Email us first so we can send return instructions. We refund the purchase price minus shipping costs once the unit arrives back.
Software updates
We provide software updates for the unit as they become available. We do not promise specific future features or a fixed support period.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about a unit is limited to the price you paid for that unit. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost revenue, downtime, site visits, or missed alarms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota.
Changes
We may update these terms. The terms posted when you place your order apply to that order. See also the Disclaimer and Privacy Policy.
